On the left, the blond matter stretches into long parallel crests, striated like a dune barely covered by the water; on the right, the deep green hollows into soft shadows, an underwater relief revealed by the light through transparency. Between the two, a sharp edge, almost ruled by the tide, where two tiny boats have come to moor \u2014 the only markers of scale in this shifting geography. Where the first work in the series sought the vertigo of depth, this one is concerned with the meeting: the precise point where two materials touch without merging.
